AUNTY, DIDN'T YOU BUY ANYTHING FOR ME?

It's a short story, trust me🌚😂.

I have a BOSS I'm currently working with and every single time I go to

place, I would always make sure I go with something crunchy for her kids. On many occasions I have made it a routine but recently on one saturday morning, the eldest son complained that he was tired of getting the same thing over and over again🙆‍♀️😳. I was surprised that I had to relate the exact statement he made to his mother and all we did was to laugh it out loud😀.

The next day, I decided not to take anything along with me seems he might come up with a different story. As soon as I entered the house, he ran towards me, hugged me and said: Aunty, didn't you buy anything for me?🥺😩

At that moment, I couldn't respond because I felt disappointed in myself and these were the reasons why:

1. He probably got tired of receiving the same thing over and over again.

2. His intentions wasn't to sound like an ungrateful being but he was trying to notify me so he wouldn't waste whatever thing I gift him some other time.

But She(The Aunty😂, not me) was so quick to conclude and assumed that he wasn't interested in her constant show of love and that was what made her take that decision.

Guess what??

Hope you are aware that this is what JESUS CHRIST wouldn't do to YOU and I. Even despite the fact that some of his blessings are ever constant in our lives, times when we don't express our gratitude to him, acknowledged him of his daily loads of blessing and benefits but all we see is the problems and challenges that surface, he still remains forever FAITHFUL (2 Timothy 2:13 -AMP:If we are faithless [do not believe and are untrue to Him], He remains true (faithful to His Word and His righteous character), for He cannot deny Himself ) and JUST towards his own. He hasn't for once had the thought of restraining them back from us and he would always show us MERCY even at the end of the tunnel, isn't he merciful?😌
