WHY PRAY FOR LONG LIFE

Dear Reader❤️,

I welcome you to the Month of JULY which is the beginning of the second half of the year 2021 and I pray may the good Lord PERFECT everything concerning your life in Jesus name (AMEN).

In this Month episode, we will be examining a topic: WHY PRAY FOR LONG LIFE, and I pray may the Spirit of God help to transform, renew and open our eyes of understanding to the workings of the spirit in Christ Jesus (Amen).

Apparently, two-third of the entire population in the universe will always wish and pray to live for a long period of time on the surface of the earth. Of course, it is not a bad one, it is indeed a gift from God to mankind but the question is HOPE IN THE COURSE OF LIVING YOU AND I HAVE NOT LOST THE FUNDAMENTAL REASON OF DWELLING ON THE SURFACE OF THE EARTH???

Numerous people have lost theirs and they are living their life to chances thereby giving the devil the opportunity to make use of them as a vessel for his own kingdom but remember that even the devil till date is still contending with God for Dominion on the planet Earth and that's why he his raising souls day-by-day to lure and distract the children of God from their ultimate goal which is ETERNITY. So why then would you live this long only to be used by the Devil and end up perishing at the end of it all?????? Why?

Remember also that he his like a roaring lion seeking for whom he may devour (1Peter 5:8). He has no better plans for you than for you to be used as his agents and your soul perished at the end of your race on earth. May you not be a prey to the devil (AMEN).

Long life as clearly written out means to be made to last for a long period of time, existence or duration. However, let's examine two aspects in relation to long life.

1. Long life to Earthly experience.

2. Long life to Eternity.

Most people wish to live long on earth only for the sake of it's pleasures, riches and wealth and forgetting their ultimate goal which is to GO INTO THE WORLD AND PREACH THE GOSPEL and as well draw back more people into the kingdom of LIGHT which is of God.

But note that: Long life is not until you live for 120 years,

Long life is not until you live and celebrate 100years of God's faithfulness,

Long life is not until you live for 90 years or lesser,

But long life is when you live your entire life for ETERNITY.

Therefore if you live your life everyday in view of eternity, then I would say that you are living well for Christ. Do not forget that riches, wealth, prosperity are all part of the promises of God to mankind but according to his words in Matthew 6:33, he wants us to do his will FIRST by seeking his kingdom and his righteousness, and all other things shall be added to you (and all these includes all the goodness of life). Furthermore, the promises of God will never go unfulfilled but we must first be willing to DENY ourselves if we so desire him, take up his cross DAILY and FOLLOW HIM (Luke 9:23).

Now, the QUESTION IS:

Are there still Christians and Believers who are ready to die all for the sake of the gospel?

Are there still Christians and Believers who are not mindful of the number of years they will live on earth but are concerned with every other thing that would bring Glory back to God and most importantly the kingdom?

Are there still Christians and Believers who will be willing for their lives to be taken away by God at anytime and any moment?

Are there Christians and Believers whose lives and entirety are wholly dedicated to God and the things of the kingdom?

Are there still Christians and Believers who are not concerned about WHEN, HOW and WHY they would face DEATH all for the sake of the CHRIST?

Lastly, Are there Christians and Believers who are ready to SURRENDER their ALL TO GOD and be willing to go back to him whenever he calls them back home???

Are there still Christians and Believers out there???

If there are still available, then they are one step closer to reigning with God.

Great Ministers of God have died of recent and you wonder why this is happening to them. The truth is, that is one of the GREATEST REWARD you could get from God as a child of God because if he decides to take up your life at the verge of you been upright with him, then that's the best you could ever ask for. If their death implies that they would reign with God, what then is more to ask for than that????

DISCLAIMER: It is only God that knows his true servant.

So therefore, whosoever dies at any point, it is only God that can tell which sides the person fall into, either his or the Devil.

So don't be quick to judge who is with God or not, none of it are your business. Your MAIN FOCUS should be on WALKING WITH HIM AND WORKING FOR HIM as well as for the KINGDOM GOAL.

As the popular saying goes thus, it is easier said than done. The race of eternity comes with sufferings (Philippians 1:29) and persecution but we are assured by God of the reward we all have in him at the end of it all.

I pray may we not live for so long on earth and miss out of his glorious mandate (AMEN).

May the Spirit of God continually rest upon us all and May we be vessels unto HONOR and not to dishonor (AMEN).

Lastly, Pray for long life as it is a good thing to ask for from God but DON'T MISUSE YOUR EXTENT OF EXISTENCE ON EARTH.
